Wineguys Radio and Doug Krenik (Segment one, Nov. 4th 2011) We call this show the Riesling show and let us de-bunk the myth that all Riesling is Sweet… IT IS NOT TRUE!!!! Bit about Doug: Over the past twenty plus years, Doug has been associated with almost every aspect of the wine business; importing his own wines, working for local distributors in both sales and education, and directing the wine program of the prestigious Flagstaff House Restaurant in Boulder, Colorado. He completed the rigorous Master Sommelier Diploma Exam in February 2006. Doug is also a Certified Wine Educator (CWE) through the Society of Wine Educators. He is currently with Dr. Loosen Bros … Visit them at www.DrLoosen.com
“Too much wine is soul-less,” he says. “Wines should speak of where they come from, and Riesling is one of the most site-specific wines. It’s the purest expression of the grape that there is.” Doug Krenik
