About: Benton-Lane is a family owned winery and vineyard located in the tenderloin of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. We produce Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and small amounts of Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay. Benton-Lanes Oregon Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris wines. Benton-Lane has designed its own system for caring for its land which incorporates the best parts of the Sustainable, Organic and Biodynamic methods. This program was designed after seven years of certification under the L.I.V.E. sustainability program.

We tasted the 2010 Benton Lane PInot Gris, Classic Clean, Fresh Pinot Gris that has a ton of character and a fantastic underlying base of acidity that all will love as an aperitif and or with a beautiful chicken salad. Throw on top some freshly sliced yellow bell pepper and a granny smith apple sliced and diced up… yummy, pour us a glass please! 

Also the 2009 Benton Lane Pinot Noir which in our mind is a bit of a fuller body style Pinot Noir. Love blueberries?… they jump out of the glass in a fantastic, yummy and OMG way. This wine will get your attention really fast with all the beautiful fruits that come out of the glass and yes the acidity is here. Want wine with your food? Get some Benton Lane 2009 Pinot Noir.
